Hoops Academy has been an amazing experience for my 7-year-old son. The coaches are extremely good with kids and do a great job balancing fun, structure, and discipline. My son’s confidence has grown so much since starting, and his basketball skills have improved a lot. He’s reached a much higher level than when he began and has learned great teamwork skills, along with different ways to respect himself and others. The uniforms are also really nice and great quality. Most importantly, my son is happy and excited to be there. My son has had such a great experience at Hoops Academy. The organization is incredibly well run. Extremely organized, communication is clear, and the sessions are structured in a way that really keeps the kids engaged and learning. The coaches are fantastic. I’m from Texas. Basketball is a way of life in the city that I lived in. There is a gym and a basketball trainer on every corner so you can imagine the level of intensity and culture. I moved here in 2018 and had been searching for the best place to place my daughter to learn the game of basketball. It took me six years to find the right program here in New York City. Hoops Academy met all of the criteria that made me comfortable and fulfilled in the area of teaching my daughter. Hoops Academy is a next level program. It not only teaches the fundamentals and advanced skills of today’s basketball, but it also brings kids and families together to share the common goal of hard work, competitive practice and community. Hoops Academy is the best! We participate in several of their programs—including afterschool, summer camp, and the developmental league—and each one is thoughtfully planned and run. They truly focus on helping every child build skills and grow as a player. My 8-year-old son loves the coaches and has improved so much, both individually and as a teammate. Hoops Klub is an amazing place! The gym is fantastic, with a great court that offers plenty of space for practice or games. The facility is brand new, so everything feels modern and well-maintained. The location in downtown Brooklyn is perfect too, making it easily accessible. I had the chance to visit today, and I was really impressed by the setup and the overall atmosphere. Hoops Academy is amazing! We are moving into our year and a half mark with our girl and feelings are still the same. Coaches are patient and very much dedicated to not only creating better athletes but better people. They continuously instill just the right amount of discipline in their players time after time. My daughter had a great experience at both their Saturday clinic in Williamsburg and summer camp held at PS 20. The coaches were knowledgeable and genuinely invested in helping each kid improve their skills and confidence on and off the court. I've been working with Coach Adrian for over 10 years. He's a motivational person that most kids need at the beginning of their basketball journey. His techniques and game related training are excellent and efficient. His awareness and attention to detail with young kids are on a high level. If you are looking for elite training, go and check out Coach A. He's one of the best in the city. ~ Les W
