Customer's reviews
Hoops Academy has been an amazing experience for my 7-year-old son. The coaches are extremely good with kids and do a great job balancing fun, structure, and discipline.
My son’s confidence has grown so much since starting, and his basketball skills have improved a lot. He’s reached a much higher level than when he began and has learned great teamwork skills, along with different ways to respect himself and others.
The uniforms are also really nice and great quality. Most importantly, my son is happy and excited to be there. We highly recommend Hoops Academy to any parent looking for a positive and well-run program. -Brandon’s Mom

My son has had such a great experience at Hoops Academy. The organization is incredibly well run. Extremely organized, communication is clear, and the sessions are structured in a way that really keeps the kids engaged and learning.
The coaches are fantastic. They strike the perfect balance of being encouraging while also pushing the kids to work hard and improve. It’s clear they genuinely care about the players and take the time to teach real basketball fundamentals, not just run drills.
The energy in the gym is always positive and motivating, and our son looks forward to going to both practice and games. We’ve seen a big jump in his confidence and skills since he started. He loves it so much, he chose to skip baseball this spring to do the spring season with Hoops.
If you’re looking for a basketball program that’s professional, well organized, and led by great coaches who truly invest in the kids, Hoops Academy is an absolutely amazing place to be.

I’m from Texas. Basketball is a way of life in the city that I lived in. There is a gym and a basketball trainer on every corner so you can imagine the level of intensity and culture. I moved here in 2018 and had been searching for the best place to place my daughter to learn the game of basketball. It took me six years to find the right program here in New York City. Hoops Academy met all of the criteria that made me comfortable and fulfilled in the area of teaching my daughter. This is probably the best program I’ve ever seen in the city of New York.
